PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the required time for transmitting a pilot signal to improve the data transmission efficiency. SOLUTION: The MIMO-OFDM transmitter comprises a plurality of transmitting antennas for transmitting OFDM signals to a receiver, and a generator for generating directly diffused pilot signals of pilot data diffused according to a direct diffusion code for demodulating the OFDM signals transmitted from the plurality of transmitting antennas by the receiver to transmit them from the plurality of transmitting antennas.
