PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a hammer holding part of an impact type hand-held tool device having high impact energy from intrusion of dust and dirt. SOLUTION: The hand-held tool device 1 has the hammer holding part 3 installed on an operation shaft 4 having an impact head 5 coaxially arranged inside and storing a hammer 2 moving by being axially restricted. Thus, a cold air flow passage 7 extending outside in the radial direction of the operation shaft 4 on the inside of at least one outside housing 6, is connected to the inside of a space 8 of the hammer holding part 3 defined outside in the radial direction of the operation shaft 4. The space 8 is airtightly sealed to an external part by seals 9 and 9' arranged between the outside housing 6 and the hammer holding part 3, and is connected so that at least one air vent 10 and 10' of the operation shaft 4 penetrates through its inside.
