A storing container is provided to install a handle on a cover to be moved, to enable a user to carry the storing container by selectively using one hand or both hands. A storing container includes a body(10), a cover(20) and a couple of handles(40). An upper part of the body is open. The cover covers an upper part of the body. The handles are installed on the upper surface of the cover to be moved. The handles are installed on a couple of recesses(21) that are formed to be depressed toward a center portion from one edge of the cover and are separated from each other. Slide grooves(22) are formed along both opposed sides of each recess. Hinge protrusions(31,41) are formed on both ends of each handle to be inserted into and to move along the slide grooves.
