<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet identification device, inexpensively and easily displaying information for software such as the version of software of a control device. <P>SOLUTION: In the paper sheet identification device 1 including an optical identification sensor 15 including at least a light emitting element 16 and optically detecting information for a paper sheet, and a CPU 20 as a control device identifying the paper sheet based on the detection output of the optical identification sensor 15, the CPU 20 displays information for control software by use of the light emitting element 16 when the optical identification sensor 15 or at least any of devices provided in addition thereto is laid in an unusual state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
