<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost polymer electrolyte fuel cell having no separator and no gas diffusion material and simple structure; to provide its manufacturing method; and to provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell device using the polymer electrolyte fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer electrolyte fuel cell is formed in structure having an insulating substrate, two or more through holes serving as gas passages installed in the insulating substrate, an anode and a cathode formed on the surface of the through holes, and a proton conductive polymer layer formed on the insulating substrate so as to come in contact with the anode and the cathode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
