PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for a linear guide apparatus capable of changing a pre-load quantity in assembling and in using without furnishing an exclusive screw for pre-load adjustment, the linear guide apparatus and a manufacturing method of the linear guide apparatus. SOLUTION: The slider 16 has an installing surface 17f to install a member 100 to beguided and mounting holes 32 to make a pair are formed on both sides in the cross direction on this installing surface 17f on this linear guide apparatus. Respective parts on which the mounting holes 32 to make a pair are formed as inclined surfaces respectively inclined toward the outside in the axially rectangular direction of a guide rail on this installing surface 17f.
