A moxibustion apparatus and a method for carrying out a moxibustion by using the same are provided to maximize an effect beneficial to a human body by using a far-infrared emitting mineral matter, an anion generating sericite, and a deodorization material as a manufacturing material for the apparatus so as to achieve an optimal far-infrared-anion-moxibustion effect. A moxibustion apparatus is manufactured by mixing and sintering following materials at a determined rate: 48 to 52 Wt.% of yellow soil for generating a far infrared ray when heated by an outer heat source; 28 to 30 Wt.% of sericite for generating an anion; 5 to 6 Wt.% of bio-stone for emitting a far infrared ray; 2 Wt.% of diatomite with a deodorization component; 2 Wt.% of activated carbon with the deodorization component; 2 Wt.% of charcoal powder with the deodorization component; and 9 to 10 Wt. % of other additive materials, like iron oxide, titanium, zircon or beryl. |
