<p>A three dimensional moulding (1) that contains fibres, especially for the production of furniture, eg seats, is formed by taking a suspension (2) that contains fibres, forming it and then hardening it. The suspension is produced by forming a homogeneous mixture of fibres and a binding agent, transferring the suspension to a mouldable surface element (6), pressing the surface element, and forming the element into a three dimensional moulding. The suspension is an aqueous suspension of an organic and/or polymeric binding agent. The binding agent is a thermoplastic or duroplastic material, and the suspension contains collagen fibres, which are 0.01-100mm long.</p> |
