A valve control apparatus is provided with a stepping motor connected to a valve, and a motor control apparatus for controlling the stepping motor. The motor control apparatus is provided with a motor control section for feeding a pulse motor with a drive pulse; a count section for counting the number of drive pulses fed to the pulse motor; a voltage reduction detecting section for detecting voltage reduction of a driving power supply of a motor control section; and a valve control apparatus having a writing section for writing a count value of the count section in a nonvolatile memory when voltage reduction is detected by the voltage reduction detecting section.
