METHOD FOR ASSIGNING GROUP CALL CHANNEL, SYSTEM AND MOBILE STATION THEREOF

A method for assigning group call channel includes, a mobile station of a group call user reports the information of the group call channel type it supports to the network side; the network side receives the said information of the group call channel type sent by the mobile station of the group call user and assigns a group call channel based on the received information of the group call channel type. A system for assigning group call channel includes a mobile station of a group call user and a network side unit. The mobile station of the group call user reports the information of the group call channel type it supports to the network side unit; the network side unit receives the said information of the group call channel type sent by the mobile station of the group call user and assigns a group call channel based on the received information of the group call channel type. A mobile station is also disclosed. With above schemes, when assigning a group call channel, the network side could assign the group call channel with the type the mobile station of the group call user supports.
