The invention discloses a refrigerated shipping container including a housing defining a chamber, which is adapted to receive produce. A refrigeration unit associated with the container has an air outlet to blow air into the chamber and an air inlet to receive air from the chamber. Deflecting means are supported by the housing to deflect refrigerated air from the air outlet to flow substantially horizontally through the chamber before the air is recycled to the air inlet.
