RACK AND PINION STEERING SYSTEM WITH A HYDRAULIC DAMPER FOR A VEHICLE

A rack and pinion steering system for a vehicle is provided to reduce or absorb impact generated according to vibration and a road surface state, and to improve steering stability by including hydraulic dampers having a plurality of orifices in an outer circumferential surface of a rack bar and an inner circumferential surface of a tube. A rack and pinion steering system(1) for a vehicle comprises a tube(50) with hollow shape, a rack bar(51) and a hydraulic damper(70). The rack bar is engaged with a pinion(40) and slid in right and left directions. The hydraulic dampers are tightly equipped in an outer circumferential surface of the rack bar and an inner circumferential surface of the tube, and include a plurality of orifices with a circle type in a circumferential direction.
