<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable with a metal fitting which is provided with a metal fitting for securing the cable to a device, and wherein the metal fitting has a stable holding force to the electric cable even if time passes. <P>SOLUTION: The electric cable 10 with a metal fitting is comprised of an electric cable 11 and a metal fitting 12 having a sleeve 18 to insert the electric cable 11. A mandrel 22 is arranged in the electric cable 11, the electric cable 11 is inserted into the sleeve 18 of the metal fitting 12, and the sleeve 18 is set at the arrangement of the mandrel 22 in the lengthwise direction of the electric cable.
