<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact piezoelectric oscillator which is easy to handle and whose productivity is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric oscillator comprising a piezoelectric vibrator 14 which has an oscillation electrode 12 formed on a piezoelectric plate 11 and a semiconductor integrated component 37 forming an oscillation circuit, part of functional wiring 31 of the semiconductor integrated component 37 is formed along the side face of the semiconductor integrated component 37.
