<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting electric wires to a glommet in which improvement of mounting work of the electric wires is realized, and in which the improvement of hermetical sealing properties are realized. <P>SOLUTION: This is the method of mounting the electric wires on the glommet 10 which is composed of a shape memory rubber, which is provided with through-holes 11 into which the electric wires are inserted, with annular convex parts 12 installed on the inner peripheral faces to form the through-holes 11 and tightly adhered to the outer peripheral faces of the electric wires, and with first recessed parts 13 and second recessed parts 14 which are installed on the outer wall face side, and in which when the annular convex parts 12 are pressed to be deformed in the spreading directions of the hole diameters, the deformed amount accompanied with these deformations is absorbed. This method has a process in which rod-like members (round bars) having diameters larger than those of the electric wires to be mounted are inserted into the through-holes 11 to form their shapes in a state that the annular convex parts 12 are pressed in the spreading directions of the hole diameters, a process of inserting the electric wires into the through-holes 11 after removing the rod-like members from the through-holes 11, and a process of releasing the shaping after insertion of the electric wires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
