PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact switching device which is easy to manufacture and in which electric power saving is achieved. SOLUTION: The electric contact switching device 1 is provided with a body part 2 having a semiconductor board 3 in which a housing recessed place 3b in which a conductive fluid L1 and an insulating fluid L2 which is not mixed with the conductive fluid L1 are housed is installed, and a housing room 2a which is constituted of an insulating board 5 joined to the semiconductor board 3 and which is composed of the housing recessed place 3b of which the rear face opening is closed by the insulating board 5, with a pair of contact points 6a, 7a which are installed at the site to close the housing recessed place 3b in the insulating board 5 and which is exposedly installed in the housing room 2a, and with an actuator 8 which by deforming the bottom wall part 3c of the housing recessed place 3b which is a wall part of the housing room 2a in the thickness direction of the body part 2, moves the conductive fluid L1 in the housing room 2a, and switches power supply state between the pair of the contact points 6a, 7a. As for the housing recessed place 3b, the cross-sectional face in the thickness direction of the semiconductor board 3 is formed in a circular state, and the bottom wall part 3c is formed in a diaphragm state over the whole face.
