The invention relates to a service assembly for automatically supplying the workstations of a textile machine which produces crosswound bobbins, having a moving mechanism which is supported on moving rails, a drag chain device for electrical and pneumatic energy supply of the service assembly and data lines, wherein the drag chain device has a cable carriage which is mounted displaceably on a superstructure of the textile machine and an axle which is connected between the cable carriage and the service assembly. There is provision according to the invention for the service assembly (16) to be equipped with stop means (19) for positioning a maintenance aid (21) which can raise the service assembly (16) from moving rails (10, 20). Here, the service assembly (16) is connected mechanically to the axle (23) of the cable carriage (24) of the drag chain device via a readily releasable coupling device (22). Moreover, plug-in connections (25, 26, 27, 28) are provided which make simple and problem-free connection and disconnection possible of the electrical and pneumatic energy lines (30, 31) and of the data lines (32, 33) of the service assembly (16).
