Use as heat transfer fluids in the presence of metals and/or Lewis acids of mixtures comprising: (A) hydrofluoroethers and/or hydrofluoropolyethers, liquid under the environ mental conditions (25°C, 1 atm); (B) a compound having a fluoropolyether structure having end groups selected from the pyridine, ammine, aryl classes; and having a number average molecular weight comprised between 400 and 10,000.
