DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT(DRM) METHOD AND APPARATUS OF SELF MADE CONTENTS

A DRM(Digital Rights Management) method of self-made contents and an apparatus thereof are provided to protect privacy and prevent illegal copying by easily finding a first circulator. A DRM(Digital Rights Management) method of self-made contents includes the steps of: making reference to a self-made policy with respect of original contents transmitted to a mobile terminal in a DRM server(50) when there is a request of contents transmission from the mobile terminal(202,203); DCF(DRM Contents Format)-packaging the original contents by using the information of self-made policy with respect of the original contents which are received from the DRM server(208); and transmitting the packaged DCF file to the mobile terminal(209).
