An inhibitor switch is provided to prevent wearing of components due to contact of the components by installing a non-contact sensor having a simple magnet, thereby increasing a lifespan of a product. A gear unit(200) includes a gear bar(210) installed in a housing and straightly moved, and a rotary gear(220) meshed with the gear bar to rotate the magnet. The gear bar is connected to a detent plate so that the gear bar and the detent plate are relatively moved. A printed circuit board(300) includes an inhibitor switch composed of plural hall elements located at positions corresponding to the magnets, and two Wheatstone's bridge sensor circuits(310) disposed at an orientation angle of 45 degrees.
