SYSTEM FOR MEASURING A CALL QUALITY OF MOBILE PHONE USING ZONE SETTING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR

A system and a method for measuring speech quality using a zone setting device are provided to collect speech quality of a building easily, accurately and simply without adding an additional measurement equipment or incurring an additional cost. A zone setting device(100) performs near field communications with a mobile terminal(200) via an internal near field communication unit, sets a near field communication available range as a service zone with respect to the mobile terminal(200), and periodically transmits a speech quality report request message including its information to the mobile terminal(200) within the service zone through near field communication. When the speech quality report request message is transmitted from the zone setting device(100), the mobile terminal(200) measures speech quality of a reception signal transmitted from a base station(310), generates a quality report message including the measured speech quality measurement data and information of the zone setting device(100), and transmits the message to a speech quality management server via a mobile communication network.
