<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect raceways with their opening surfaces reversely faced to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The metal fitting is equipped with first and second side plates 31, 32 oppositely provided so as to be mutually in parallel, and first and second mounting plates 33, 34 mutually provided in the opposite to the longitudinal direction and width direction of the first and second side plates 31, 32. The first and second mounting plates 33, 34 are respectively provided with screw holes 33a, 34a. The both ends in the longitudinal directions of the first and second mounting plates 33, 34 and of the first and second side plates 31, 32 are respectively inserted into the insides of respective ends of two raceways made up of lip channel steels whose opening surfaces are reversely faced to each other. The bottom plates 11 of respective raceways are thrust by the tips of screws mounted in the screw holes 33a, 34a from the insides of the first and second mounting plates 33, 34, whereby the ends on the opposite sides to the first and second mounting plates 33, 34 disposed in the width direction of the first and second side plates 31, 32 are abutted to the insides of lip edges 13 of respective raceways so as to be fixed onto respective raceways.
