摘要 A thermoelectric conversion system receiving heat from a heat source by radiation and a method of increasing the efficiency of the thermoelectric conversion system. The thermoelectric conversion system (1) comprises at least a thermoelectric conversion module (5) having at least a pair of thermoelectric elements (2), a heat receiving part (6) disposed in the state of non-contact with the heat source (3) and receiving the heat from the heat source (3) by radiation, and a heat radiating part (7) positioned on the opposite side of the heat receiving part (6) and cooled by a refrigerant (4) and generating power by a temperature difference between the heat receiving part (6) and the heat radiating part (7). One or a plurality of continued or divided heat receiving surfaces (18) formed of the surface of the heat receiving part (6) facing the heat source (3) are given different heat quantities from the heat source (3). The heat receiving surfaces (18) comprise a plurality of different emissivities according to the heat quantities given from the heat source (3).
