A modular rasp (10) is used to prepare a femur bone (1) for a prosthesis. The rasp has a number of parts with a distal section (10A) and at least two proximal sections (10B) in different shapes (a,b) and rising heights (H). They are structured according to the morphology and the depth of the distal section penetration. They are bonded together by a release mounting (11). On the other side, a neutral intermediate element (12) forms a proximal gauge with scale markings (13) for the insertion of the distal rasp section, and the measurement of its penetration depth, to determine the length and the dimensions of the proximal section to be selected. |
