<p>The machine (1) has a power supply (10) with an electric circuit (11) for supplying a functional unit (6) and a control unit (5) with current (I), where the circuit has a switch (15) with switch contacts (20, 25) and an operating element (16). A sensing unit (30) e.g. touch sensitive sensor, interacts with the unit (5) for registering operations of the element. The unit (5) assumes an operating state in which a control signal is provided so that the contact (25) assumes a closed state after the operation of the element, and assumes an open state after another operation of the element. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a beverage preparation machine for preparing and dispensing a beverage.</p> |
