Verification of position accuracy of a patient table relative to isocentre

The device has a patient table positionable in an iso-centre. An optical coordinate display system has a laser radiator (12) provided for emission of laser rays. A verification body is provided with photo rows (14a, 14b, 14c) composed of series of charge coupled device cells for radiation detection to verify the position accuracy of the patient table, where the position of the photo rows is correlated with the patient table. The photo rows are arranged parallel to each other. The verification body has a connecting unit for connection with the patient table. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a verification body for verifying the position accuracy of a patient table (2) a method for verifying the position accuracy of the patient table.
