An antistatic textile lubricating oil composition comprises by weight 25-30% of a condensation product of the monolauric ester of glycerol with ethylene oxide, 40 -50% of a lubricating oil (preferably paraffinic), 15-20% of a non-ionic emulsifier and 0-20% of water. The non-ionic emulsifier preferably contains a polyoxyethylene group and may be, for example, the compound known under the name "Emulson OVS," or a mixture thereof with small amounts of polyethylene glycols and/or polypropylene glycols and/or tall oil.
