An insulated shipment package comprises a tubular bag 1 that encloses the outside and inside of insulation material 3 and is sealed closed using a closure device 2 attached to the bag. The package is made by inserting the insulating liner 3 into the lower interior portion of the bag 1 and then folding the upper portion of the bag inside out into the interior of the liner to substantially cover its inside surface. The bag mouth may optionally be sealed and pierced before being folded in. The closure device 2 may be adhesive tape protected by a removable backing. The package may be used to ship contents 4 such as food with a cooling medium 5 if required. |
