A method for controlling a refrigerator is provided to reduce temperature deviation of a storing chamber by cooling the storing chamber with high priority of fixed temperature, by using remaining cool air. A method for controlling a refrigerator comprises the steps: judging whether a storing chamber is under natural cooling condition(S204); and cooling the storing chamber naturally, by using remaining cool air if the storing chamber is under the natural cooling condition(S206,S211,S216). The natural cooling condition of the storing chamber is satisfied if temperature of a cavity of the storing chamber or set temperature of the storing chamber is higher than predetermined set temperature.
