A running machine for giving a motive for exercise is provided to let overweight persons exercise with fun and to induce the aggressive posture for exercising by giving presents if reaching a level value set by an interface. A running machine(10) for giving a motive for exercise is composed of an interface(20) for controlling the exercise level; a driving unit driven according to the exercise level of the interface; and a control unit for controlling a present supply device(30) giving different presents according to the exercise level. The driving unit comprises guide frames(41) installed at both lower parts of the running machine; a belt(44) installed between the guide frames and rotated in an endless track by driven and driving rollers; a power device applying power to the driving roller; an angle adjusting unit varying the vertical position of one side of the guide frame; a fixed frame disposed in the belt while closely coming into contact with the belt, not to interfere with the rotation of the driving and driven rollers, wherein both sides of the fixed frame are settled to the guide frame; and a pressure sensor installed at the upper part of the fixed frame to detect pressure.
