A temperature sensor having a self-calibration function and a method thereof are provided to compensate errors according to a change of processes and to correct inaccuracy due to an offset of a comparator. A reference voltage generator(120) is formed to generate a reference voltage varied according to temperature. A digital-analog converter(110) is formed to convert an N-bit digital signal to an analog sensing voltage. A comparator(130) is formed to compare the reference voltage with the analog sensing voltage and to generate a compared result signal. A digital signal generator(150) is formed to change the digital signal on the basis of the compared result signal. A first storage circuit(140) is formed to store an output signal of the digital signal generator at a first temperature. A data output unit(160) outputs data corresponding to a second temperature on the basis of an output signal of the digital signal generator and the output signal of the first storage circuit at the second temperature.
