A method for forming a lithium rechargeable battery is provided to save the time required for an electrolyte impregnation step when a lithium battery is manufactured, and embody a sufficient theoretical capacity of a lithium battery. A method for forming a lithium rechargeable battery includes the steps of: accomplishing the first electrolyte impregnation by the action of an electrolyte upon an electrode assembly exposed to the outside; calculating the deficient amount of an electrolyte by weighing the first electrolyte-impregnated electrode assembly(110); and putting the first electrolyte-impregnated electrode assembly into a case, and then replenishing the deficient amount of an electrolyte to accomplish the second electrolyte impregnation. |
