A plasma display panel is provided to improve a contrast ratio for full daylight conditions by protruding a black protrusion from a discharge region to a non-discharge region. A first substrate(10) and a second substrate(20) are disposed opposite to each other, and barrier ribs are interposed between the substrates to define discharge cells which form a discharge region and a non-discharge region. Address electrodes(11) are extended in a first direction corresponding to the discharge cells. First electrodes(31) and second electrodes(32) are extended in a second direction intersecting the first direction on the second substrate. At least one of the first and second has a black protrusion(33) extended from the discharge region to the non-discharge region. |
