A lithium rechargeable battery is provided to combine with an electric/electronic device in an easy manner by forming a sliding unit on short side walls thereof and forming a guide part on the electric/electronic device. A lithium secondary battery having long side walls and short side walls includes: a bare cell(200) having an electrode assembly, a can for accommodating the electrode assembly, and a cap assembly which seals a top opening of the can; and a protection circuit part(270) which is formed on the bare cell to control charge and discharge of the bare cell. Sliding units(216) are formed on a pair of the short side walls of the lithium battery. An electric/electronic device(280) comprises: a combination part in which the lithium secondary battery is used as a partial or whole electric power source, and the lithium secondary battery with the sliding units is fitted; and a fixation unit for fixing the lithium secondary battery fitted in the combination part. The combination part includes an insertion groove(282) for receiving the lithium secondary battery, and a wall(281) for forming the insertion groove.
