An apparatus for testing water quality and a method for testing water quality by using the same apparatus are provided to detect various components simultaneously in water rapidly and simply by using a very small amount of water sample. An apparatus for testing water quality comprises: an inlet part containing an inlet pipe(11) for flowing in water by negative pressure and a division pipe(12) communicated with the inlet pipe and having branches for inducing the introduced water into a detection part; a detection part containing a first micro pipe(15) communicated with the division pipe for inducing water from the division pipe, a reaction pipe(13) communicated with the first micro pipe and having reagents capable of reacting with the water passed through the first micro pipe, and a second micro pipe(16) communicated with the reaction pipe for inducing the water passed through the reaction pipe to a rubber pocket; a rubber pocket(14) communicated with the second micro pipe for receiving the water passed through the second micro pipe by generating negative pressure; and a support(17) for fixing all components, wherein the reagents include a pH reagent, a Cu reagent, a NH3 reagent, a Fe reagent and a NO3 reagent.
