A film speaker is provided to prevent the decrease of vibration characteristic although a support frame is attached to a peripheral part and to output the sound of high quality over the entire film surface by uniformly supplying current over a vibrating face. A film speaker(1) includes a piezoelectric film(2) coated with conductive polymer(4) on the surface; an electrode unit(6) electrically coupled to the piezoelectric film and connected with a speaker driving element; a soft edge member(10) attached along the rim of the piezoelectric film; and a reinforcing projection(12) extended to a part adjacent to the film speaker of the edge member. The electrode unit disposed at the piezoelectric film has higher conductivity than that of the conductive polymer of the piezoelectric film, and comprises short side parts(6a,6b) arranged correspondently to each other; plural long side parts(6c) extended at regular intervals between the short side parts; and a pair of terminals(6e,6f) disposed in each middle portion of the short side parts. |
