METHOD FOR SETTING PLAY-LISTS OF CONTENTS FILES IN MOBILE TERMINAL

A method for setting play-lists of content files in a mobile terminal is provided to shorten an initial execution time of the content files by enabling the execution of a file without reading header information of a specific content file. A method for setting play-lists of content files in a mobile terminal includes the steps of: storing a predetermined content file in a first memory unit of the mobile terminal(S403); extracting head information from the stored predetermined content file by a control unit of the mobile terminal(S405); creating a play list by the use of the extracted header information and storing the created play list in a second memory unit by the control unit(S407); reading information on the play list stored in the second memory when a command for executing the predetermined content file is input(S411); and executing the predetermined content file stored in the first memory unit by the control unit(S413). The method for setting the play lists of the content files in the mobile terminal further includes a step of modifying the play list information of the second memory unit when a command for deleting or adding the content files is given(S417).
