DIAGNOSIS OF ASYMMETRICAL BINOCULAR VISION

A method for diagnosis of the asymmetrical binocular vision provides for the examination of the binocular vision when the object is fixed nearby, far away, and at the intermediate distance. A pattern of the monocular fixation is assessed when two eyes are open or one eye is occluded. The data on thebinocular merging in the natural conditions are compared with the data on the pattern of the monocular fixation. The change of the foveal fixation of one of the eyes to eccentric fixation when both eyes are open is indicative of diagnosing the asymmetrical binocular vision.
