A swarf removal device of a centrifugal separator is provided to prevent swarf discharging and draining fails due to swarf stuck on the inner side of a dewatering tub by simply separating the swarf stuck on the dewatering tub. In a centrifugal separator(300) separating swarf and cleaning solution generated in cleaning equipment for washing the surface of steel plates and discharged to the outside by a skimmer installed at a tank, a swarf removal device of the centrifugal separator is composed of a supply pipe(310) feeding the swarf and cleaning solution discharged by the skimmer; a dewatering tub(340) containing the swarf and cleaning solution discharged through the supply pipe; a support member(360) mounted at the outer upper end of an inner tub(330) installed at the outer peripheral surface of the dewatering tub with keeping a predetermined gap; a cylinder(370) installed at the lower part of the support member; a link(380) of which one end is installed at the cylinder and the other end is movably installed at the support member through a hinge; and a discharge plate(390) of which one end is installed at the link and the other end is inserted into the dewatering tub. |
