A method for generating power and purifying polluted water using a multi-step type reservoir is provided to balance the ecosystem by forming a path for aquatic life in a water tank such that a food chain is naturally maintained. A method for generating power and purifying polluted water comprises the steps of forming a water tank(10), forming a water way(20) at two sides of the water tank, installing a turbine at a front lower end of the water tank and discharging the water stored in the water tank and a sub-water tank(20'). The water way is formed at two sides of the water tank such that water is introduced from a paddy field or a dry field into river, so that water flowing along the water way flows in a different way as compared with water stored in the water tank. The water way has a gate(21) for collecting water flowing along the water way to form a sub-water tank(20'). Water collected in the sub-water tank is introduced by controlling the open/close state of gate. |
