A method for detecting air pressure in a tire is provided to measure air pressure of the tire according to the fluorescent degree of a paint coated on a surface of the tire. A method for detecting air pressure in a tire comprises the steps of coating a paint in a predetermined thickness, in which a fluorescent degree of the paint is changed according to variation of air-pressure in the tire(101), detecting variation of the fluorescent degree of the paint according to the variation of air-pressure in the tire(103), and displaying the air-pressure in the tire(107) after measuring the air-pressure in the tire based on the fluorescent degree of the paint, which is inversely proportional to the oxygen content(105).
