A method for generating power and purifying polluted water is provided to purify water stored in a water tank naturally by discharging water through a flood gate formed on the water tank. A method for generating power and purifying polluted water comprises the steps of forming a water tank(10), forming a waterway(20) at two sides of the water tank, installing a turbine at a front lower end of the water tank, and discharging water stored in the water tank and a sub-water tank. In the step of forming the water tank, the water tank having a multi-step structure is installed in the river. Sand, gravel and soil obtained during excavation work are sorted. A paddy field or a dry field around river is covered with the soil. A bank structure for protecting two sides of a water way is constructed using the gravel and stones. Iron rods are arranged in a concrete form. Ready-mixed concrete is used to construct the water tank. The water tank is constructed by pouring the ready-mixed concrete into the concrete form. The concrete form is dissembled from inner/outer walls of the water tank. |
