The proposed device for analyzing biomolecular medium contains a total-reflection prism which surface is coated with a film of reflecting material, a polarized monochromatic optical radiation source, a unit for rotating the prism relative to the optical radiation source, a photodetector, and additionally, a unit for determining the polarization of the optical radiation reflected from the film coating of the prism, which is installed between the prism and the photodetector. The unit for determining the polarization contains an optical modulator, which is installed on the side of the prism, and the polarization transducer, which is installed on the side of the photodetector.
