The invention relates to the novel chemical compounds of coordination structure, in particular to getherometal salt of nickel (II) and cobalt of the general formula of Ni5-xCox(PO4)y(P2O7)z.n(NH3).m(H2O), where x=1.0 4.0; y=0.67 2.57; z=0.40 2.00; n=6.12 8.98; m=10.50 14.04. A process for preparation of nickel (II)-cobalt (II) aquaaminoortho-pyrophosphate getherometal salt as compound of coordination structure, in which the given ratio between content of Ni2+ and Co2+ is provided by saturation of mechanical mixture of Ni3(PO4)2.8H2O and CO2P2O7.6H2O, taken at a ratio of Ni2+ : Co2+ = (1.0-4.0) : (4.0-1.0), with gaseous ammonia at the temperature of 15-25 DEGREE C during 48 hours.
