A method to grow potatoes includes preplanting soil preparation, including making furrows in soil, applying mineral fertilizers therein and covering the fertilizers with the soil from piles forming ridges, planting potatoes into the ridges and soil cultivation in inter-row spacing, while cultivating the plantations. The furrows are cut shaped as a triangular or a trapeze of no less than 15 cm in depth and 20 cm in width on the surface in the soil not cultivated after the preceding crop, forming piles from the soil on each side of a furrow, and simultaneously phosphorous-potassium fertilizers are applied. Organic fertilizers are applied in autumn using body broadcasters equipped with separating elements and guiding chutes. In spring the soil in furrows is loosened for a depth up to 30 cm and simultaneously raked up into the furrows from the piles, forming the ridges above the furrows, into which, after heating the soil up to a temperature 6-8 DEGREE C, potato tubers are planted and nitrogen mineral fertilizers are applied. After emergence of seedlings up to 10 cm in height the first loosening is carried out, and after achieving a height of 15-20 cm by the plants the second soil loosening in inter-row spacing is carried out, in doing so the potato plants and weeds are covered by soil, piled the ridges up to a height of 20-22 cm after the second loosening.
