A method of reinforcing an inclined surface of an excavated land is provided to prevent collapsing or leaning of the inclined surface of the excavated land by vertically drilling a hole using an auger installed with a steel tube, and filling the hole with a woven fabric and gravels of certain sizes, and then inserting a spiral expansion device to collect and drain gushing underground water. A method of reinforcing an inclined surface of an excavated land comprises the steps of: drilling an inclined surface of an excavated land using an auger machine(10) having a steel tube installed on an outer surface of the auger; filling a woven fabric into the steel tube and filling gravels into the woven fabric, and then removing the steel tube; and inserting a spiral expansion device having inlets into the drilled hole for collecting the gushing underground water. A hole is drilled to a depth of 1 to 2 meters. The hole is drilled to diameter of 200 mm if the soil is a hard ground, and to the diameter of 200 to 400 mm if the soil is soft. A lubricant is applied on the outer surface of the woven fabric when filling the gravels into the woven fabric. Gravels having 20 to 30mm sizes are filled into the woven fabric.
