A specimen extracting apparatus of hot coil specimen sampling equipment is provided to easily extract a specimen extracted by a down coiler and transferred through a specimen transferring conveyor. A specimen extracting apparatus of hot coil specimen sampling equipment includes a rotational shaft(10), a rotation unit, and a specimen chucking device(20). The rotational shaft is disposed on a transfer path of a specimen transferred by a specimen transferring conveyor and is rotatably installed. The rotation unit rotates and drives the rotational shaft. The specimen chucking device is fixed to the rotational shaft. The specimen chucking device includes a specimen chucking recess having a hook-like shape into which the tip end of the specimen is inserted.
