FIELD: eyes and face protecting means used on carrying-out of welding work. ^ SUBSTANCE: welder's helmet has face shield provided with viewing window and pivotally fixed on head, and frame with optical filter. Helmet is additionally furnished with shield having lateral guiding slots, plank for pivotal attachment and fixing of frame to optical filter, and shield retainer. Shield is pivotally fixed on face shield, above viewing window. Plank is positioned for movement along slots, lengthwise of shield, for attachment of plank at predetermined distance. ^ EFFECT: convenient operation and simplified construction. ^ 2 cl, 8 dwg |
