FIELD: protection of vessel inlets against clogging with solid particles. ^ SUBSTANCE: air knife has sections of wall which are superimposed forming gap in between them; at least one gas intake is connected with this gap admitting the gas flow through gap. Air knife may be located at inlet or near inlet of suspension reservoir for reduction of accretion of solid materials carried to suspension reservoir. Gas flow is introduced at velocity sufficient for reduction of accretion of solid materials on air knife walls and consequently at suspension reservoir inlet. ^ EFFECT: avoidance of accretion of hygroscopic cyclone dust at suspension reservoir inlet. ^ 13 cl, 4 dwg
