An LED driver with a pulse width modulation is provided to obtain high efficiency and high luminance by repeatedly storing and discharging an electric current at a driving unit according to turning on/off a switching device. An LED driver with a pulse width modulation includes a power source supply unit(100), a power source controller(110), a switching device(120), and an LED driving unit(130). The power source supply unit(100) supplies a power source to drive an LED. The power source controller(110) modulates a pulse width of the power source supplied through the power source supply unit(100) and controls an amount and time of an electric current flowing through the LED. The switching device(120) is connected to the power source controller(110) and is turned-on/off under a control of the power source controller(110). The LED driving unit(130) stores the electric current when the power source controller(110) turns on the switching device(120) and discharges the electric current when the power source controller(110) turns off the switching device(120) in order to drive the LED.
